You'll be working on both Desktop and Mobile components of our e-commerce platform. This is a positioin for a world-class software engineer who loves Javascript, not just a web designer who knows the basics of Javascript. We are pushing Javascript and HTML5 to the extreme, and creating beautiful cutting edge HTML5 applications. You'll only have to deal with modern desktop and mobile browsers!

Technical requirements:
 

• Excellent JavaScript knowledge necessary. We'd like you to point us to websites/web apps you developed using JavaScript
• Experience with HTML5/CSS3
• ​Experience with mobile and desktop JavaScript framework (SproutCore, jQuery Mobile, XUI/Zepto, Sencha)
• At least 4 years professional experience building sophisticated Javascript applications.
• ​At least 7 years experience in software development
   
  Desired but not essential skills:
   
• Experience in user interaction design and gesture handling
• ​PHP
• iOS or Android experience
  
  Other competencies, skills, and education requirements:
   
• BS/BA in Computer Science or related field is a must
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
• ​Must be able to function well in an early stage startup environment
