Remedy ITSM and SRM Specialist
(Consulting role; up to 50% travel. Candidate can be based anywhere in the country, ideally on the east coast.)

To grow our Cloud Services practice, we are actively looking for an experienced, technically well versed individual to lead and partner with other consultants in developing a program that helps our clients adopt and expand the use of automated processes based on BMC Cloud Lifecycle Management (CLM). This individual will be responsible for designing, developing and implementing customized processes that extend the functionality of the CLM solution and / or adopt it to meet customers’ requirements. Further responsibilities are implementing and contributing to our best practices and standards, as well as supporting development of a training program to enable our technical associates to obtain relevant technical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Setup and lead (hands-on) Remedy ITSM and SRM customization / implementation projects to deliver the overall CLM solution.
- Develop and maintain detailed project documentation; continually develop and improve intellectual property and support materials and contribute back to the practice.
- Interface directly with end-users, management, ITSM/SRM teams, vendors, and other IT staff on solution creation. Work closely with other analysts in the organization to leverage skill sets and deliverables. Provide end user training as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments and groups throughout the organization to achieve customer satisfaction and resolve issues in a timely fashion.
Essential Knowledge, Skills, Experience:
- 5+ years IT consulting as a Remedy developer and administrator. Hands-on experience with version 7.6.04 or later (must have).
- Solid ITSM foundation data knowledge.
- 2+ years SRM. Experience with administration and configuration of the application, development of PDTs based on client workshops, implementation of custom AIFs as well as approval processes/rules. Experience with large service catalogs.
- Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills, strong interpersonal skills, and attention to detail.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 50% (negotiable).
Desirable Knowledge, Skills, Experience and Certifications:
- Cloud and virtualization technologies.
- BMC CLM suite of products (BBNA, BBSA, Remedy, BAO, etc.).
- Understanding of project lifecycle.
- ServiceNow implementation and customization.
- Database Administration (e.g. Oracle, SQL).
- Established IT and Data Center Operations methodology experience.
